CFV - Local Shop Tournament Report & SGD/Blasters update May

I have more time now, yay~ and have been playing at my locals a lot more with Spring Circuit in my region coming up soon. I played in one of our weekly tournaments during the week, I'll be posting more of these since it seems to be the posts that get the most view =P

Since the Aichi Legend Deck just came out I decided to play SGD/Blasters with some slight changes, here's what I played.

CFV - My Shop Challenge! Tournament Report April 2017

Just had my locals shop challenge so I thought I'd get this down asap while I still have some memory of it. For those that don't know what the shop challenge is...it's a big-ish tournament (well at-least for me) where the winner gets a 2 round bye in the Bushiroad Spring Circuit. Unfortunately I didn't win it...I came 3rd =_= but it was better result than I thought I'd get.

35 people showed up today at my locals in a tournament best of 1s up to top 8 and this is what I played.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - 22April16 pre-Spring Fest locals individual tournament

pre-Spring Fest locals individual tournament (29 players)

I've never done a tournament report/blog entry so thought I'd give it a go given I did pretty well today (well yesterday by the time I finish writing this) at one of my locals and while I still remember anything. My locals held multiple pre-Spring Fest tournaments this week basically for players to test their decks before the actual thing on the 23rd (today as I am writing this). Today's tournament was rather "bigger" as it was the day before Spring Fest, entry was $20 and the prize was a SCR card+packs. Before I talk about my match ups...this is the deck I played that got me 4th place out of 29 people. The tournament was best of 1 until top 8.
This is the Altmile/Blaster deck I posted up before with a couple of tweaks, most notably the extra critical triggers instead of draws. I legit decided to swap out the draw triggers for criticals moments before the games started when the host announced it was best of 1s; figured that I'll sack my way up =P actually went better than I thought though I did regret not playing draws at the end of the night.
