*Notes*

  • Some cards have been taken out for Reigning Dragon; he's great for creating multi-attacks and field recovery, IMO he's an upgraded Spearcross.
  • Only playing 2 G4 Gurguit; generally games only last long enough for 2 and you want to save counter blasts/soul for G3 Gurguit's GB2 skill.
  • I don't play any of the other strides because I don't think they're very good, Scourge Point first stride is still the best IMO; however feel free to change the line up anything works as long as you keep 2 G4 Gurguits and the Reigning Dragons.
  • I play 1 copy of Dawngal; Ezel is imo still the best alternate G3. Dawngal is a decent superior call. 1 copy because I never want to ride it.
  • Elio/Heli is a very strong early game card; fuels soul for Gurguit and applies pressure. No reason to not play Elios unless you don't care about the early game at all but why wouldn't you.
  • Henrius is a Benizel clone, he basically replaces Perimore now being more versatile.
Pwyll into Henrius and then Reigning Dragon can make a chain of columns.
  • Marcia IMO is a 2 of staple (more if you like) in Gurguit decks. She fuels soul, counter charges and has resist which makes her a very versatile card especially against Kagero and Link Jokers.
  • Playing regular PGs instead of ones with effects for Gurguit's GB2 skill.
  • Still playing the 5 crit, 7 stands and 4 heals; I personally like this lineup very much. Units get a lot of value out of stand triggers on stride turns.
  • Every unite deck should be playing some combination of Ketchgals; he is a one card unite proc when called from deck.
  • Play style of this deck hasn't changed at all since my July update; the deck just has more options now with Reigning Dragon and Henrius.

Playing this deck

  • Make full use of power buffs, Gurguit GB2 skill and calling skills to gain hand advantage.
  • Be aggressive early game, make sure to always have a unit to receive stand trigger effects, don't be afraid to play your G2, G1 and G0s to deal damage since most cards have lingering effects and you get free units once you start striding.
  • Remeber you can save a lot of hand advantage by maximizing Gurguit's stride and GB2 skills.

Playing against this deck

  • Similar strat against all Paladin clans try not to give them too much counter blast especially mid-late game when they can make multi-attacks with Pwyll, Hendrius and Reigning Dragon.
  • Kill off key cards such as Pwyll.
  • Guard earlier if you can so you can freely take the bigger columns later on the game.
  • If Gurguit has GB2 active remember to calculate that in your attempts to push for game.

Have fun =)
